Returns & Refund Policy – Mother Earth Commodities

1. Overview

Mother Earth Commodities operates as a wholesale supplier of agricultural and food products. Due to the nature of our goods, returns and refunds are strictly limited and only accepted under specific conditions.


2. Returns Eligibility

We only accept returns or issue refunds under the following circumstances:

  • The product is expired at the time of delivery

  • The product is rotten, contaminated, or unfit for consumption

  • The product is defective or damaged upon delivery

  • The goods supplied are incorrect or do not match what was ordered or advertised

Returns for any other reason will not be accepted, unless agreed to in writing prior to or at the time of sale.


3. No Returns on Accepted Bulk Goods

Once goods have been delivered and accepted, no returns or refunds will be permitted unless:

  • A defect or issue falls within the conditions listed above

  • The issue is reported within the required time frame

This is especially important for bulk goods such as beans, rice, peanuts, and similar commodities.


4. Reporting Issues

All claims must be reported within:

  • 24–48 hours of delivery for perishable goods

  • 48 hours of delivery for all other products

Claims must include:

  • Proof of purchase

  • Clear photos or videos showing the issue

  • Description of the problem

Failure to report within this time frame may result in the claim being declined.


5. Inspection and Approval

All returned goods are subject to inspection.

  • If the claim is approved, we will offer a replacement or refund

  • If the claim is rejected, the goods may be returned to the customer at their cost


6. Returns Process

  • Do not return goods without prior approval

  • Approved returns must be sent to our designated address

  • We may arrange collection in certain cases


7. Shipping Costs

  • If the return is due to our error (damaged, defective, or incorrect goods), we will cover the cost

  • For any other approved returns, the customer is responsible for shipping costs


8. Refunds

Once approved:

  • Refunds will be processed via the original payment method

  • Processing times may vary depending on your bank or provider

  • Handling or restocking fees may apply where applicable


9. Important Notice

Due to the nature of wholesale and perishable goods:

  • We do not accept returns based on change of mind

  • We do not accept returns due to market conditions, resale challenges, or storage issues after delivery
